Announcing the Winners of the Jac Lewis Foundation Christmas Card Competition

We are delighted to announce the winners of the Jac Lewis Foundation’s Christmas Card Competition! With over 400 incredible entries from local schools, the creativity and effort from all the young artists truly warmed our hearts.

The competition saw entries from Saron School, Parcyrhun School, Ysgol Bro Banw, and Ysgol Gymraeg Rhydaman. A huge thank you to the pupils, teachers, and parents for their support.

Our Winning Designs

After much deliberation by our judges – Trustee Rhodri Jones and Janet Lewis, Jac’s mother – the winner was revealed to be Ifan from Ysgol Gymraeg Rhydaman! His wonderful design featured Cammy playing football in the snow, alongside the Jac Lewis Foundation logo.

Our runner-up was Sophia from Saron School, who created a sparkling masterpiece with her glittery Christmas tree.

Both Ifan and Sophia’s designs captured the festive spirit perfectly and reflected the creativity and thoughtfulness of the Foundation’s community.

The Prizes

As a reward for their amazing work, Ifan and Sophia each received family cinema tickets for Brynamman Cinema. A big thank you to Brynamman Cinema for generously donating these prizes – it’s great to have local businesses supporting local initiatives.

Thank You to All Who Took Part

We’d like to thank every pupil who participated in the competition. Each entry was a testament to the talent, imagination, and kindness in our local schools. We’re incredibly proud of the communities coming together to support the Jac Lewis Foundation while spreading festive cheer.

Supporting Mental Health Together

This competition was more than just a chance to showcase creativity – it was a wonderful way to bring awareness to mental health and the Foundation’s mission to support wellbeing in our community.

Congratulations again to Ifan and Sophia, and thank you to everyone who made this competition a success. Together, we’ve made the holiday season a little brighter! Stay tuned for more updates and activities from the Jac Lewis Foundation. Until then, we wish you all a joyful and peaceful Christmas season.
