A Heartfelt Thank You to The #4N;cky Foundation

At the Jac Lewis Foundation, our mission is to provide vital support for mental health and wellbeing in the South West Wales community. We were deeply honoured to have received a generous donation of £3,000 from The #4N;cky Foundation – a testament to their incredible fundraising efforts throughout 2024.

The #4N;cky Foundation is a charitable organisation founded in loving memory of Caroline Nicholas-Thomas’s son, Nicky, who died suddenly in December 2022 at just 20 years old. Nicky was a remarkable young man, known for his hard work and his talent as an awesome drummer. His legacy lives on through the foundation’s work, which raises funds and awareness for mental health in our community.

During our meeting with Caroline, we spoke about the shared goals of our two organisations: breaking the stigma around mental health and fostering open, honest conversations. Caroline and her team not only provided financial support but also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to standing alongside us in our efforts. Their dedication to offering help, information, and guidance is truly inspiring and aligns perfectly with the ethos of the Jac Lewis Foundation.

At the Jac Lewis Foundation, we understand that mental health support must be tailored to each individual’s unique needs. That’s why we work closely with GP clusters, social services, and the local health board, as well as accepting private referrals. Our comprehensive approach ensures that those who seek our help receive the personalised support they deserve.

The generosity of The #4N;cky Foundation strengthens our ability to provide these essential services. Their fundraising efforts are more than a donation; they are a lifeline that enables us to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need us most.

Together, we can build a brighter future where mental health is openly discussed and support is readily available to everyone. We are deeply grateful to The #4N;cky Foundation for standing with us on this journey and for their unwavering support of our community mental health initiatives.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Together, we can find a way forward.
